This album was conceived a bit differently than my other ambient records. This time I got a basic idea down, then I would improvise the overdubs and added layers. On previous records I would work on something until I ”had it”. This was much freer and more open.
It’s all guitars, no keyboards. I used my Solar Guitars 7-string. To get the various guitar sounds I used Nembrini Audio’s MP-1 preamp, JCM800 and Cali Reverb amp plugins. Effects were mainly Valhalla Supermassive, Sixth Sample Deelay, and Logic Pro’s own Space Designer and ChromaVerb.
I love experimenting with sounds and layers.
