Woke up at around 7:00 to get on the ferry to Stockholm. Once on the boat, I set up my portable ”studio”. Thought I’d get some recording done today. However, I didn’t realise that my strings were totally dead. In fact, I could hardly tell what the notes were on the lowest string – that’s how dead they were. I don’t have any strings with me in the cabin, they’re all on the bus. So no recording today. String change first.
We all had the buffet for lunch on the ferry. It was really nice. I had a lot of fish, like different pickled herrings, and salmon. Apple pie and coffee for dessert.
Played some bass. Took a nap.
Got on the bus, chatted for a while with our crew guys. No dinner today as I wasn’t hungry.
