Day 12 Prague

Today was a so-called ”drop and go”. That means that everything and everyone gets dropped off at the venue and the bus goes elsewhere for parking because there’s no room at the venue. Usually, this is not a problem if the dressingroom situation is adequate. No such luck here, however. One small room for two bands. Oh, well. At least it’s not cold.

We had a listening session again today, with someone from a Czech metal magazine. He seemed to like what he heard.

Dinner was the most tasteless chicken and mashed potatoes I’ve ever had.

Oh, yeah, our dressingroom was Right. Next. To. The. Stage. What a fantastic idea! If you didn’t think there was enough noise in your life, this racket would change your mind.

Fun show. Great sound, too.

I need to practice more. I don’t feel quite ”there” in my playing. It’s hard to describe, but I feel a little disconnected from my bass and I don’t like that. More practice, less crap. There, I said it.
