Woke up with a headache today. Perhaps because of the heat in the bus. We seem to be having issues with the air-condition system. A bottle of water and a cup of bus-coffee made it slightly better. The venue today was…rough, shall we say? Sounds better than ”a real shithole”. No toilet-seats, no locks on the toilet-doors. The food was really good. Lasagna and something ”very Portuguese” that had rice, sausage and chicken in it. Chilled for a bit. Some stretching and slow warm-ups.
Great show, the place was packed. Henrik came over to me in one song and managed to unplug my in-ear monitors from the wireless transmitter, so all of a sudden I couldn’t hear anything. That was exciting and quite the challenge! Luckily, Simen saw what happened and yelled at our guitar-tech to help me. That’s what friends are for.
