Woke up really early again, but managed to get another couple of hours in. Breakfast on the bus was great. Studied a bit. Went for a coffee. I had my hopes up (my fault) and was disappointed. Again. But maybe that’s what I get for ordering a ”black coffee”. Maybe I need to be more specific. Next time….
Me, Stephen and Tom went for a walk. Nice city, this. Found a nice, quiet bar and sat there until soundcheck.
Fell asleep on a couch in our dressing room. Then, Heather (our tour manager/merch) came with food. Burgers and fries. Very well-needed. Would be nice to feel energetic every once in a while. Some other time, perhaps.
Good show. It’s getting better and better. Playing with a different drummer is a huge change.
In bed by 11pm.
